A few of you have reported issues accessing DTAC over the past few weeks. In most cases, the problem had been due to Internet Explorer 11 being installed by mistake during the Windows update process.

It’s come to my attention that quite a few of you are now having problems accessing DTAC at all. If you’re sure that you don’t have IE 11 installed on the service computer (see instructions at the bottom of this email for removal instructions) then per JDIS, you need to check one other thing.

Log in to Pathways & do the following:

Click Tools (press the “alt” key on the keyboard if you don’t see the Tools menu)
Make sure there is a check beside “Compatibility View”

If compatibility view is disabled then DTAC won’t work at all. For some reason this seems to be getting turned off on some of our computers.

To uninstall Internet Explorer 11:

Click Start & type “view installed updates” in the white box

Open “View Installed Updates”

Give this list a minute or two to list all of the software

Scroll through the list, find “Internet Explorer 11”, click to highlight it & then click the Uninstall button

The computer needs to be restarted after uninstalling.
